MY FAVORITE NAIL CARE PRODUCTS

The products listed on this page are what I use to help create pretty and maintain healthy nails.  I've also included some products that have come highly recommended.

Non Acetone Nail Polish Remover

Using a non-acetone nail polish remover will help your nail beds from getting dry.  One of my favorites is Mineral Fusion.  As you can tell from the reviews on Amazon, I'm not alone in loving this product!

I also created an amazon page of all the other non-acetones for you to check out, click here!

Cuticle Creams/Oils

An absolute must-have for healthy nails is a great cuticle cream/oil.  Moisturizing your nails, cuticles and hands on a regular basis is the best thing you can do for nail health.

One thing you must
never do is cut your cuticles!!  It's not healthy to do so.  The more you cut your cuticles the more they will grow back.  Many nail salons do this as a way to keep you coming back.

Your cuticles will be less noticeable the longer you leave them alone!  Push your cuticles back only - after you soaked your hands to soften them - or right after your shower/bath.

The products below I use personally during and in between manicures.  I keep one by my bed to apply and night and one in my desk to use during the day.  I use all three of these products and love them!  You just want to be sure you wait at least an hour before and after applying Color Street to use them.  The link above will take you to a page on Amazon listing of more cuticle creams/oils.

Top Coats

Top coats are great to use over our solids to help the manicure last longer.  Naturally I'm always going to suggest my nail polish as the perfect top coat.  Truthfully, it's an amazing addition to your Color Street manicure, as it will help it to last longer and it doesn't require time to dry and no concern for smudging.  To get this amazing no dry, no smudge, top coat, click here or contact me

If you must use a liquid top coat, several of these have come recommended:

OPI Nail Lacquer Top Coat

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Color, Top Coat

Nail Strengtheners

Nail strengtheners are a personal preference.  What one person finds works really well, another person will find it doesn't work for them at all.  I would recommend be open to trying several different brands to figure out which one works best for you.  With that said, I've found Hard As Hoof to be a great strengthener and as you can tell from the reviews, so many people agree.  It's good for the cuticles too.  I like to give my nails a 2-day break and during that time I use Hard As Hoof several times a day (and also with my manicure) and cuticle creams/oils a lot too.

Another nail strengthener that has been recommended comes from Opi.  Also, use the link above to see other options on Amazon.

My Favorite Manicure Light

This cordless, rechargeable small lamp provides the perfect lighting for doing dry polish manicures -- and it's perfect for lots of other tasks.

The Best Cleaning Gloves Ever!
These gloves are simply the best to use to clean.  They're lined so they're super comfortable.  You can use super hot water and not even feel the heat like you can with other gloves. They are latex free and one pair will last for years.  I've been using them for over 30 years and wouldn't consider using anything else!   CLICK HERE for more info and to purchase.

Please note:  They are stiff at first but will quickly soften up.  Also be sure to pick the correct size for your hands.
